EPDA Nutrition & Exercise Classes


El Paso Diabetes Association is offering free Nutrition and Exercise classes at the Ysleta Branch Library. They are held on Mondays, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Specific dates are October 13, 20, 27; November 3, 10, 17, 24 and Dec 1st. Presented by Angela Hernandez, BS Educator.

Teen Hangout - Dia De Los Muertos




The Ysleta Branch Library, 9321 Alameda, announcing the Teen Hangout will present, “Dia de los Muertos Felt Skulls”. Teens decorate felt skulls to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, Ages 12-18. Meeting from 4:30 PM till 6:30 PM on Thursday, 10/30/2014.

Computer Class - Introduction


The Ysleta Branch Library, 9321 Alameda, will host a Computer Class titled Introduction to Computers. Entry level computing instruction. Learn mouse and keyboarding skills. Class starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 11:00 AM on Thursday, 10/30/2014, Registration required.

Powerpoint Class

The Ysleta Branch Library, 9321 Alameda, will host a computer class; Power Point Basics. This class features a basic Introduction to MS PowerPoint. Must know how to use mouse and keyboard. Class starts at 5:30:00 PM and ends at 6:30:00 PM on Wednesday, 10/29/2014. Registration required

Ready To Read - Halloween



The Ysleta Branch Library, 9321 Alameda, presents Ready to Read celebrating Halloween; Trick or Treat! Decorate a DVD. The fun begins at 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM on Tuesday, 10/28/2014. Join us.

Chess Presentation & Tournament


On October 11, 2014, Ysleta Branch Library hosted a day of Chess events, Started off with the presentation "Chess In Libraries & Schools" with Alexey Root. Champion Chess player and teacher, she showed kids and adults techniques, strategic planning, and documenting  moves. Following the presentation began the tournament with over 70 participants.
